For the Treatment of Inadequate Milk Supply

In this study, research is being conducted to determine if Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, or OMT, may enhance the body’s natural ability to produce milk.  It was proposed over 100 years ago by the founder of Osteopathy, A.T. Still D.O. that OMT, is a safe and alternative method for the treatment of inadequate milk supply but it appears that no formal research studies have been undertaken to prove this.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is the knowledge of the structure, relations, and functions of each part and tissue of the human body applied to the adjustment and the correction of whatever may be interfering with their harmonious operation.
